We’ve designed this live, instructor-led workshop to empower you with a comprehensive understanding of business finance. We break down complex financial concepts into simple, easy-to-grasp lessons that are perfect for non-finance professionals. We’ll cover everything from understanding the business flow of money, reading & interpreting key financial statements, to creating and monitoring budgets. This is ideal for EAs & PAs wanting or needing to level up their finance knowledge
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the business flow of money and business cycle phases
- Recognise different financial structures of organisations
- Read and interpret the main financial statements - Profit and Loss/Income Statement, Balance Sheet/Position Statement and Cashflow
- Differentiate between Capex and Opex and understand the process of depreciation
- Develop and monitor a department or project budget
- Identify, manage and control costs
- Demystify financial terminology and jargon
