It kicks off with a 60 minute introductory session then you attend 5 one day training courses (9.30 to 4.30 UK time with 2 X 15 minute comfort breaks and one 60 minute lunch break). We encourage lots of participation during the training day with interactive exercises and a combination of individual, paired and group work. We also encourage you to ask lots of questions citing “no question is a silly question”. Our style of delivery is down-to-earth, friendly and supportive.
The lead trainers for this Programme is our Co-founder and Director, Lindsay Taylor who draws on her own experience of being an EA and PA prior to setting up Your Excellency. Lindsay delivers all Units of this Programme apart from Unit 3 : “Introduction to Project Management” which is facilitated by Joshua Taylor. You can read more about the trainers here.

Each one day training course is delivered from 930-430 (UK times) with 2 X 15 minute comfort breaks and a 60 minute lunch break.
The Programme kicks off with a 60 minute introductory session delivered 1000-1100 (UK time).
We appreciate that there may be unforeseen circumstances which result in you not being able to attend a training course. With the agreement of your fellow Cohort of learners, we will record this session. You will also be invited to set up a one-to-one catch up call or Zoom with the trainer if you need extra input on the learning.
We set the cohort group size at a maximum of 12 learners. We want to create a personal connection with you and support you fully with your learning whilst giving you an opportunity to network and learn from your fellow Cohort members. This maximum group size means your learning is optimised.
You’ll need to schedule in attendance at the 60 minute introductory session and 5 X one day training courses.
You are required to submit written assignments per training course and will need to factor in time for additional reading and research to produce an assignment submission you are proud of. We recommend 3-4 hours per month to do this.
This depends on your time zone. The one day training courses take place 930-430 (UK times).
No. There is no exam at the end of the Programme. There is a requirement to submit a written assignment per training course you attend. You get 30 days to submit an assignment with the option to get feedback on one draft assignment before final submission of your work. Your assignment is marked and internally verified here at Your Excellency by our qualified assessors and internal verifiers. You are awarded a “pass” or “refer” mark. If you get a “refer” we will provide comprehensive feedback to you and you can resubmit your work. When you’ve attended the 5 one day training courses and achieved 5 pass marks, your work will be sent to the awarding organisation (SFJ Awards) for external verification. Upon succesful external verification you will be awarded with achievement of the Ofqual Regulated Qualification, SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Professional Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, and Administration Skills. We will email you a Certificate of Achievement and our huge congratulations!
