I was sorting through my videos on my phone this weekend and found some beautiful footage of our call duck Daphne with her 3 day old baby Wilbur – click on the image to play!
It’s fascinating to watch how baby follows mum’s lead with the feather (fluff!) preening isn’t it?
This is an example of the “modelling of excellence”, a term used in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
The “modelling of excellence” is an awareness and identification of excellent behaviours in others that we can replicate.
It’s something you can put into practice to ensure you’re working at the top of your game.
Think about someone you know, maybe a friend, a work colleague, your Executive – what do they do excellently and how do they do it? What can and will you replicate?
And for those of you striving for excellence and keen to find out more about our learning and development offerings, check out our FREE Open Lunch Event on 1st September. We’ll be sharing lots of info on our Essential PA Programme and there’ll be an opportunity to ask me any burning questions too.
