Fresh back from an amazing trip to Cambodia, I have lots of learning to share with you. Our guide, Nimol, was a true inspiration with his stories of culture in this fascinating kingdom. Here’s some sweet learning that Nimol shared with me. Nimol explains that a traditional wedding ceremony involves the bride and groom being offered a candy – part sweet, part salty. Under no circumstances should the couple spit the candy out no matter the assault on their tastebuds. They must endure its taste as learning that they will embrace life with an appetite and determination to endure the good and the bad. Food for though hey?!
