| Welcome to 🍏Lunch n Learn with Lindsay🍏 Issue 238 I am LOVING all the cheery “Spring-is-here” posts on my social media feeds today! As we embrace the arrival of Spring, I think it’s the perfect time to rejuvenate our routines and to influse some fresh energy and inspiration into the week ahead! Here are some tips to put that much-needed Spring back in your step! 1. Embrace the Outdoors With longer days and warmer weather, stepping outside can do wonders for your well-being. A brisk 10-minute walk can boost your mood, increase energy levels, and improve cardiovascular fitness. Whether it’s a stroll in the park or a hike in the countryside, make the most of the season by getting active outdoors. 2. Savor Seasonal Delights Spring brings a bounty of fresh produce that’s both delicious and nutritious. Incorporate these seasonal gems into your meals and make sure you’re adding in “mood boosting” favourites too. Asparagus: Rich in vitamins A, C, and K, asparagus is a versatile veggie perfect for salads or grilling. Strawberries: Packed with antioxidants, these berries make a sweet addition to breakfasts and desserts. Watercress: This peppery green is a nutrient powerhouse, excellent in salads and sandwiches. 3. Prioritize Mental Well-being As you rejuvenate your physical health, don’t forget your mental well-being. Practices like mindfulness, meditation, or simply taking time for yourself can significantly reduce stress and enhance overall happiness. You can read more on Managing your Energy here. Let’s welcome Spring with open arms, embracing new opportunities and nurturing our personal and professional growth. And remember, it may only be a small step that you take today but it’s heading in the right direction! And, of course, if that step has a Spring in it, all the better! |
