| This morning on my train journey into London I mulled over a conversation I had recently with a fellow business owner. She was grumbling a bit about the fact that her clients don’t seem to appreciate all the time, energy and hard work that goes on in the background to running a successful business and shaking her head about the number of different “hats” she has to wear as a business owner. (Goodness you could swap out “business owner” for “EA” or “PA” in that sentence couldn’t you?!). I totally get this. Whilst you, as my reader, know that we offer learning and development to the EA and PA profession, you are probably unaware of the intricacies of this. This is particularly relevant when considering our Essential PA Programme which incorporates an Ofqual Regulated Qualification. Being an approved training centre with the awarding organisation SFJ Awards means we have to adhere to certain policies and procedures and we need to maintain the highest professional standards. There’s A LOT of work that goes on “behind the scenes”…but do you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way! And actually it’s just not in my nature to grumble about the work involved in being a successful business owner. I love what I do. |
| Also, I believe if you’re an EA or PA investing your time, energy and money into professional development, you want to know that the training provider you choose is credible, quality-assured and genuinely committed to professional standards. Being an approved training centre with SFJ Awards demonstrates we have the systems, processes and quality arrangements in place to confidently deliver and assess the qualification, giving our learners reassurance that their learning is being delivered to the standards expected of a regulated qualification. And that matters. Because being an exceptional EA or PA isn’t just about being great at your job. It’s about continually developing your skills, building confidence, strengthening your professional credibility and investing in your future. Our Essential PA Programme is designed with the modern EA and PA in mind, combining practical, relevant development with a recognised qualification. It’s a Programme we are incredibly proud of and which contributes to our mission to raise the bar for EA & PA professional development. | Our exciting news from HQ this month is that we have joined London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and I was delighted to be offered a space in their September/October Issue of London Business Matters Magazine. Of course I jumped at the chance to promote our profession! You can take a read of the full magazine here. |
