Lunch and Learn with Lindsay – Issue 23: X is for X marks for the spot

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of activity here at Your Excellency HQ with online training deliveries galore and a very exciting press announcement.  If you missed our exciting news you can read it here.

I have a “hierarchy of criteria” outlining what’s important to me when working with Business Friends and setting up collaborations and partnerships. When it comes to working with Lily Shippen I am able to check off my criteria in its entirety – including

So, today I’m sharing a training video detailing how you can pull together your own “hierarchy of criteria”. 

This is a simple yet hugely beneficial exercise to help you identify what’s important to you.  Based on a chapter of my book  “X is for X marks the spot”, it’s a perfect technique to help you when you’re faced with choices and making decisions.

SFJ Awards - Level 4 Certificate in Office & Administration Management. I can't fault the level of training and support I received from Lindsay and Malcolm at Your Excellency Ltd. I attended “How to be a PA with PA – Perfect Awareness". I was a little unsure at first but it turned out to be one of the best courses I have attended for a while. Lindsay put our small group at ease instantly and adapted well when a power outage meant we didn’t have a screen. The course was the perfect mix of group discussions, work in pairs, independent ideas and fun tasks. I have been running Queen Bee with my business partner for over 5 years, but have always taken a back seat with the finances. Taking part in the Principles of Finance course was my way of getting a grip on some of the basics, so that I could participate more fully in the financial decisions of the company and better understand my clients’ businesses. Malcolm really de-mystified a lot of the finance jargon and I came away feeling far more confident about tackling things such as Balance Sheets, P&L and forecasting. The worksheets were really helpful and will be a great reference tool for me in the future. I’m really pleased that I took the time to do the course – it was well overdue!
