Welcome to another #LunchNLearnWithLindsay.
I’ve always considered the PA and EA role privileged. You get so see, hear and experience what’s happening from the “shop floor” all the way to the Board Room table. You are privy to lots of information and have contact with so many people – your Executive, team members, customers, clients and suppliers.
Even with the current COVID restrictions in place limiting face to face contact, if you take a minute to think about all the people you will connect with today (good old Zoom and Teams and an ever-increasing reliance on email…), that’s a pretty impressive list I’m sure. Consider that list over the course of a week, a month, a year, and you’ll realise what vast “reach” you have to influence and persuade. And because you’re in a privileged position you are ideally placed to put forward your ideas, suggestions and proposals based on what you’ve seen, heard and experienced.
In my new 5 part Blog series “The Influential & Persuasive EA, PA & Administrative Professional” I share with you the benefits of being able to persuade. I introduce you to a model you can use to structure your persuasive communication and I help you step up to being an influential professional.
You can read this Blog series here. As ever, I hope you enjoy the learning and gain benefit from putting it into practice.
With regards
Lindsay
