Lunch and Learn with Lindsay – Issue 267 : The Garden of England

Welcome to Issue 267.

I hope you had an enjoyable weekend and happy Monday to you.

Malcolm and I were in the Kent countryside this weekend, our first time exploring this beautiful county famed as “the garden of England”. We stayed in the historic and picturesque village of Goudhurst. The weather gods blessed us with sunshine and blue skies albeit crisp, take-your-breath-away air on our morning jaunt around the village yesterday, crunching through the autumnal fallen leaves.

On Saturday we experienced top notch hospitality from Balfour Winery with a tour and tasting. I’ve added their Balfour Brut Rose to my list of favourite fizzes (and may have purchased a bottle to grace the table on Christmas Day!)

If you are interested in finding out more about Balfour, head here and contact Amie on Amie@balfourwinery.com letting her know of my recommendation. Look at the gorgeous scenery in my snaps!

On training news, we’ve updated our website here with details of Series 5 Lunch n Learn LIVE webinars with a focus on Emotional Intelligence. Head to my recent LinkedIn post here to watch an intro video for this exciting learning Series.

Finally, there are just 3 places remaining in our Mini MBA for Senior & Executive Assistants November Cohort. If you want to head into 2026 with more strategic know-how and a renewed confidence in your role, check out the Programme details here.

Cheers to the week ahead!
