Lunch and Learn with Lindsay – Issue 5: 3 Things you can do now to boost your confidence

At the end of April I posted a LinkedIn message that is causing quite a stir.  To date I’ve had 6,650 views, 149 likes, 25 comments and several shares of that post.

My simple yet highly effective practical advice on how to boost your confidence has “landed” at the right time.   So I’m re-sharing the post as this week’s “food for thought”.  You can read the original (and comment, like and/or share of course!) on LinkedIn here.

I’m inviting you to connect with me on my other social media channels per the links at the end of this message.  And I’m re-iterating my sentiments from previous #LunchNLearnWithLindsay messages that it is so important to support each other during these strange times.

In my 10+years of working as an EA and my 13 years of working as a specialist EA trainer and coach there’s one thing I know for sure – we are a fantastic professional, supportive community. Let’s all do “our bit” to get through these strange and challenging times.

⭐3 things you can do NOW to boost your confidence⭐

1.  Grab a piece of paper and a pen and head it up “I’m really good at…….” Jot down everything you’re good at. What examples do you have to back up your claim? What evidence do you have? Read your list out loud. Stick your list up on the fridge.

2. Set yourself up for a win. Do something that you’re good at, something that will make you smile, something that will result in you feeling proud of your achievement.

3.  Go for a walk : a change of scenery, exercise and some fresh air can make all the difference to your mindset.

With regards
Lindsay
