It’s great that so many EAs, PAs and administrative professionals are attending free and complimentary training sessions and webinars at the moment. There’s a lot of valuable content out there and I applaud you for being proactive and using this period of uncertainty to commit to your continuing professional development.
With the turbulent world we are all experiencing right now it’s never been more important to bulletproof your career. We believe the best way to do that is with accredited training and qualifications. And whilst our accredited training and qualifications have a price tag on them* we know it’s a great investment for you and your current or future employers.
In this article we’ll share the benefits of this investment with you. We will encourage you to reconsider the “why-would-I-pay-for-training-when-I-can-be-learning-for-free?” mindset. We’ll shine a spotlight on the undeniable benefits of accredited training and qualifications versus (and complementary to) the “free stuff”. (*Whilst we know we are competitively and fairly priced in the market, we also know that the cost may be a barrier to you right now which is why we’ve launched our “TRAIN NOW PAY LATER!” scheme. You can defer payment to October 2020 or spread the cost over 5 monthly instalments.)
Certification on completion
Upon successful completion of the programme you’ll have earned a Level 3 Award or Level 4 Certificate depending on your qualification choice. You will receive a certificate from the Institute of Administrative Professionals and be welcomed into our exclusive Alumni group.
Add your qualification details to your CV and your LinkedIn profile and you’ll provide evidence of having committed to high quality accredited training which will make you stand out to future employers and recruiters. Your dedication to ongoing development is a main focus for employers as this comment from Lucy Chamberlain Founder of high regarded recruitment firm C&C Search confirms:
“As a search firm our role on behalf of clients is to explore and truly understand at a deep level the integrity, commitment and follow through in the candidates that we represent and put forward to our clients. Actions speak louder than words in all areas of life and holding an accredited qualification and being a member of a professional body is a clear demonstration of that commitment. It also shows the dedication to ongoing personal and professional development that clients are focussed on now more than ever.”
As a conscientious, supportive training provider we’re immensely proud of our students who have excelled in their career and taken advantage of the inevitable benefits of accredited training and qualifications. Students who have graduated with us have improved their chances of employment, they’ve gone on to further growth and development in their organisations, they’ve “found their niche” and specialism. Their learning journey has been a real boost to their confidence as this video from Level 4 learner Gemma McCreath testifies:
