Lunch and Learn with Lindsay – Issue 210: Culture

Welcome to 🍏Lunch n Learn with Lindsay🍏 Issue 210.

Today I’m working on an outline Programme for a a 3 hour workshop for a London client.  I love designing training that “hits the mark” in terms of learning outcomes and this is a great one to design.

My brief is for “cultural training” with the outcome that a team of 19 staff can best work together for success, fostering respect, professionalism and understanding of each other.

I am using this quote from McKinsey as my foundation and will share training on self awareness (Personal SWOT), the Johari Window Model, ensuring the team can communicate assertively and use feedback as a development tool.  The team will pull together a Team Charter as a
framework for success.

My challenge now is to condense all this great learning into 3 hours of impactful takeaways…and, as is standard Your Excellency practice, I will be sharing a copy of the Powerpoint Slides withthe learnings to include useful resources and further reading to encourage continuous professional
development.  For learners who “want more” it’s important to signpost them to articles and blogs that will complement and supplement their knowledge (note all the links in this message!).
