Lunch and Learn with Lindsay – Issue 101 – Inspiration from George Orwell

In true Lindsay-style, I’m sharing learning that has a creative link to the issue number. 

The number 101 reminds me of Room 101, a BBC Comedy television series inspired by George Orwell’s novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four”.  In this series, celebrities are invited to discuss their pet hates and to persuade the host to consign those hates to oblivion in Room 101. 

Have a think now about your pet hates.

What annoys you? 

What niggles away at you? 

What are the underlying reasons for this? 

Because, once you’re aware of these pet hates and you’ve acknowledged them, you can then identify what you can do to change them…

And always remember this quote too – pretty thought provoking hey?!
